Tokyo’s Sézanne has been named the winner of “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024” list. The French restaurant, located on the 7th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, climbed to the top spot from number 2 on the 2023 list. Japan had a total of nine restaurants on this year’s list, while Singapore, despite its small size, also had nine. China had the most restaurants on the list with 11, including six in Hong Kong, four in Shanghai, and one in Macao.

Odette remains the highest-ranking restaurant in Singapore at number 10, followed by Burnt Ends at number 15. Other Singaporean restaurants on the list include Euphoria, Born, Meta, Labyrinth, Seroja, Les Amis, and Lolla.

Bangkok had eight restaurants on the list, with six ranking in the top 20. Gaggan Anand, Nusara, Sühring, Sorn, Le Du, and Potong were among the top-ranked Bangkok restaurants. The top 50 list includes restaurants from 19 cities across Asia.

The list is based on reviews from more than 300 industry insiders in Asia, with judges divided into six regions to ensure fairness. The 50 Best organization also ranks “Asia’s 50 Best Bars,” which was topped by Coa in Hong Kong in 2023.
