Other brokerages like Coldwell Banker, The Agency, and Ryan Serhant’s brokerage also boasted their recruiting successes. This shift in focus from headcount to quality reflects the changing real estate industry, with increased competition for talent in a crowded market.

Brokerage leaders are starting to emphasize the quality of recruits over quantity, responding to the challenges of a slower market and increased competition. The pressure on agents to consider new opportunities is high, with a significant percentage receiving recruiting offers regularly. However, despite the frequent inquiries, most agents are not inclined to switch brokerages, highlighting the challenges faced by companies in attracting and retaining top talent.
