The apartment is located in Lenox Hill and features a wood-burning fireplace, herringbone floors, oversized windows, an office, a library, an eat-in kitchen, and a staff room with an en-suite bathroom. The building offers amenities like a 24/7-attended lobby, fitness center, and bike storage. Didion, known for her contributions to New Journalism and her work in American politics and culture, passed away in 2022 at the age of 87. Her joint archive with Dunne was acquired by the New York Public Library and is expected to be accessible to the public in early 2025.
